Hilton Suites Winnipeg team members to help host the 2010 Winter Olympics!
Winnipeg, MB (January 25, 2010) – Hilton Suites Winnipeg Airport is pleased to announce that two Hilton team members will be representing Winnipeg behind the scenes at the upcoming Winter Olympics in Whistler.
Team members Executive Chef Jamie Szabo and Food & Beverage Services Manager Ray Bachewich are excited to be leaving for the Hilton Whistler Resort & Spa on February 5, 2010. Both Chef Jamie and Ray have been with Hilton Suites Winnipeg Airport for 3years. Jamie and Ray will spend a month providing the Warmth of Hilton Hospitality and the Friendliness of Manitoba to the World.
When the call went out from Hilton Whistler Resort & Spa for extra hands to help ensure the very best service for the games Jamie and Ray were front of line.
Chef Jamie was eager to play his part in the Vancouver 2010 Olympics. "I worked in Australia before the 2000 Sydney Olympics and wanted to stay for those games. When I heard that Vancouver won to host 2010, I was determined to be there."
Ray is equally excited. “"My Career has taken me to many interesting places & allowed me to work with an incredible mix of people. I look forward to my Olympic adventure as a continuation of that journey"
Jamie and Ray may not come home with medals but they will play an important role in representing our country to the world – and we at Hilton Suites Winnipeg Airport are proud to have them as a part of our Team!
